Hello dear readers! Today I would like to present you a very interesting dining room with a pop of green that makes this space really stand out. To be honest, these days I see so many dining areas that have green elements, it seems that green and emerald green have made their way into many many homes.
The dining room that I am showing you today has been designed by Jen Langston, who is based in Charleston, North Carolina. What is so special about this place? Well, I think that Jen Langston managed to combine different materials and textures in a perfectly balanced way. The use of wood gives the room a lot of natural and warm appeal, whereas the metal elements bring a hint of contrasting industrial style. These elements, kept in a natural color palette, make a great backdrop for the most eye catching element: green wingback chairs covered with velvet upholstery. The rich texture and saturated color, as well as the grandiose form of the chairs give the room a very special character. To me, this room is all about modern rustic meets glamor! I also think that the rounded, feminine shapes of the chairs contrast nicely with the masculine, straight line table and the bench.
Undoubtedly, analyzing this room is a fantastic lesson on mixing textures and forms in order to achieve a very interesting interior styling.
I will be happy to hear your opinion about this room!
