Hello everybody! Are you already in Easter mood? I am happy to share with you that last week I was lucky to win a beautiful Easter decoration book, Das Osterdeko-Buch by Hanna Erhorn, through a giveaway organized by Inga from glomerylane blog (if you are passionate about flowers, this gorgeous blog must be on your reading and admiring list!). Inga is very creative when it comes to packaging, so I was really looking forward to receiving my gift. And indeed, the book came beautifully wrapped in pink paper with some pops of neon pink and yellow and little bunny plus Pantone Candy Pink postcard (love it!). This nice surprise got me into Easter spirit and inspired to some Easter DIY and styling. Although this book is in German, most of the ideas are easy to follow thanks to beautiful self-explanatory pictures. In addition to decorating ideas, you can find some recipes as well as interesting details on…eggs .
I really like the idea of using egg shells as small plant pots! Super cute! Nice idea for fans of traditional mail: decorate the insides of envelopes with feather rubber stamps (there are many shops on Etsy, like PoshBinky or creatiate, which sell similar stamps).
One of the DIY ideas from the book, which I decided to try out was making a wrath from eggs covered in strips of fabric. This wreath is very simple to make and it looks just gorgeous hung from a chandelier or as part of a table centerpiece (scroll down for detailed instructions on how to make this decoration).I am really happy how my yellow, green and white wreath turned out!
I wish you all Happy Easter!
